Main Mission Introduction

"The Lady of the Lake told me to wait for guidance from a queen I killed to find my way to the shards of Arthur's soul. Her annoyingly cryptic remark alluded to Queen Guinevere, of course, so I wasn't that surprised when I received a message from Queen Guinevere... by a raven that could talk. Guinevere is under siege. If I help her, I will get that promised guidance."

Main Mission Completed Description

"I defeated the army threatening Lady Guinevere and I learned that my Morgawse, the former Witch Queen of Orkney was behind the attacks. Guinivere kept her word and told me that Arthur's soul shard is in the crippled Fisher King, the monarch of the Wasteland. She will lure him out from his castle and then I'll deal with him"

Events that occur during the Main Mission, The Besieged Castle.

Move to the Castle

This mission begins with Lady Guinevere's instructions to follow her ravens and kill those in your way. Follow the path forward. There will be a body to loot nearby your starting position. You'll eventually reach a cutscne and it will pan over to some guards. Prepare for combat. 

Defeat the raiding party

The tactic here is to keep your ranged warriors at a distance while prioritizing their crossbowmen. You can then also deploy Bear Traps to choke their approach. Once they make their move, a few of them should be in close enough range for your next attacks. Use any melee attack and keep your position as they approach. Clear the raiders to continue. 

You will soon meet Lady Guinevere. Exhaust her dialogue and she will join your party. There will now be two main objective points marked with flags on your map. Each objective point will complete a different objective. Head east to destroy the catapult and west to defeat Pict Shaman. 

Destroy the catapult

Approach the and deploy your enemies. It is better to spread then out in pairs. Lady Guinevere can be placed at an aggressive position. Use a ranged warrior to clear any crossbowmen within range. Wait for their turn and they will approach giving you a chance to attack them with any melee character within range of a foe. Clear the camps to continue. As soon as the camp is clear, the catapult will automatically be destroyed.  Before you exit, loot the chest in the area.  If this was the first point of interest you visited, you can make your way to the other marker. 

If you cross through the middle of the map, you will encounter a another battle. This will be easy to clear since a majority will stand with basic HP (6-11) with some of them fighting with 20 HP. Clear them to continue. 

You will notice the campfires are also marked on your map. If you make your way to the west campfire area, and move forward, you will trigger another small battle against four enemies with basic vitality. Clear them to be able to loot the chest next to the catapult they're guarding. Move forward towards the ruins and there will be another lootable body and a chest to loot nearby. 

If you turn the corner of the ruins, there appears to be another lootable body, however entering the area will trigger another quick combat sequence. Clear the area and move on to your second objective.

Approach the objective area and begin combat. Your main target during this fight is the Moon-Woman performing the ritual. Destroy her and the worm from the earth will emerge,  a Burrowqueen. Clear the rest of the area and you will be able to finish the mission. Make sure to loot the rest of the chests in the area. They will be marked on your map.
