The Confrontation is a Main Mission in King Arthur: Knight's Tale. The Confrontation mission is part of Act 2 and it is located at Lost Carhaise. The main objective will be to Ambush the Fisher King. Sir Mordred is a required hero for this mission. Completing this mission unlocks the next Main Mission The Excalibur. For a list of all available missions, click here.

Main Mission Introduction
"One of King Arthur's soul shards has been embedded in the suffering Fisher King, the lord of the Wasteland. I must defeat him, but his castle is too heavily guarded. Luckily, Lady Guinevere has managed to lure him out and set up a meeting with him in a ruined castle. That will be the place where I'll strike."
Main Mission Completed Description
"Lady Guinevere lured the Fisher King into a trap but we failed to defeat him. That monstrous creature is usurping the power of the Grail and he is invincible. Instead of a glorious feast of victory I had to sneak through a camp filled with nemey soldiers. It seems that the only weapon capable of striking down this fragment of Arthur is the lost Excalibur. Guinevere promised me to find out where it is hidden. "

Events that occur during the Main Mission, The Confrontation.

Kill the Fisher King
This mission immediately thrusts you into battle against the Fisher King. As you position your heroes, consider the enemies' linear positioning. You can reposition a hero with a ranged attack so that it lines up diagonally with multiple enemies and more easily clear them. You can also advance forward and behind the Fisher King, which could also take you behind one of the royal guards and will allow you to deal an attack from behind. You can now proceed to clear them out with your preferred attacks, focusing on the Fisher King first.
After the first sequence you may need to continue to fight the Fisher King again until the next cutscene. When the cutscene ends at the bridge, walk away from the Fisher King and you will run into the Hermit.
Follow the Hermit
As you proceed, you will run into an Elite Guard. Prepare for combat. Clear them to continue making your way to the Hermit within the ruins. Loot the body at the corner of the ruined structure and take rest at the campfire spot if needed. Continue to the Hermit's third location reveleaed by the camera pan. The direction will also be indicated on your mini map.
If you choose to roam the area, you may encounter some more guards. A shieldguard within the area has the potential to share the password to prove you're an ally. Opt for the less hostile dialogue options. When prompted with the password, request that he recite it. At the end of the interaction, you will be given the choice to spare him or let him go. With the password, not every interaction with a guard has to lead in combat.
You will encounter a prisoner behind a magical barrier that requires a blood sacrifice. A selected hero must lose 20% of their HP for the mission in order to dispel this barrier. Speak to her to accept her reward (+20% damage during mission)
Continue making your way to the Hermit. After you meet him this will be his last location. Clear the last camp to be able to finish the mission.
