Full The Sadness of Sir Tegyr Walkthrough

Side Mission Introduction

"I've heard about a village where the believers of Old Faith and Christianity used to live together in peace, until the curse of the Wasteland reached them too. Since then, it's been a living hell, despite the efforts of Sir Tegyr, the protector of the village. He seems like an extraordinary knight to have achieved this much, so I decided to send out my men to help him out."

Side Mission Completed Description

"We have helped Sir Tegyr to give the final rest to his family. Sir Tegyr, the Christian Knight with a noble heart who always tried to turn his land into a peaceful haven, suffered enough. Now he is ready to fight his battles under the banners of Camelot."

Find Sir Tegyr's son

  • Sir Tegyr must survive

Once you start the mission, you will immediately encounter Sir Tegyr and have a short dialogue with him. He explains that this place was once a lush woodland, then the Fisher King's curse, swept over like a tide, withering everything in its wake. He talks about his deceased wife and children who lived with him in a village nearby. He then asks for help to lay his family to rest and promises to join you afterwards. After the dialogue, Sir Tegyr will temporarily join your party. There will be three quest markers that will appear on your map, these are the locations of Sir Tegyr's family. There's no specific order in which family member you wish to go to first, but for this walkthrough, we'll start with Sir Tegyr's son located at the north-west corner of the map.

From the starting point, you would just need to head straight north to get to his son, but you will have to engage in battles along the way. for the first encounter, a Pict Chosen will stop you and immediately engage you in combat after a short dialogue. The Pict Chosen will be accompanied by two Pict Warriors and two Painted Bowmen. This battle will be fairly easy considering their numbers. Once you've cleared the enemies, you'll have a short conversation with Sir Tegyr as he explains why those enemies wanted his head. After the conversation, you'll see a campfire nearby, you can rest there if needed.

Continue heading north, you'll encounter another group, this time a Pict Shaman will stop you and ask you to leave or they will take your head. After the dialogue, the battle will begin. The Pict Shaman will be accompanied by other Pict Warriors as well. Be wary of corners since three more enemies will spawn after defeating a few of the Picts in the area.

Once you've cleared the area, head towards the quest marker where you'll see Sir Tegyr's son, Loon. They will both have a short conversation then, four Lost enemies will rise from the ground and the battle will begin. This battle will be fairly easy as well, you can take advantage of the stone that erects from the ground as cover from the Lost Crossbowman, but you really wouldn't have to as there's not much threat during this fight. Once you've defeated the enemies, you can rest at the campfire nearby if needed, there's also a chest in the area that you can loot if you wish to do so.

Find Sir Tegyr's daughter

Now make your way to the north-east corner of the map, along the way you'll encounter another battle, there will be no dialogue involved but you'll see a Moon-Woman summon a Worm of the Earth, then the battle will begin. The Moon-Woman will be accompanied by some Pict Warriors as well. Clear the battle to continue. Make your way down the road and enter the Chapel near the quest marker, there's a campfire at the left side of the chapel to rest if needed.

Once you enter the chapel you'll see Sir Tegyr's daughter took up the form of a Banshee, they will have a short conversation before you engage in battle. Once it starts, a number of Walking Dead enemies will start spawning from the ground in almost all directions. This battle will also be fairly easy, especially the Walking Dead enemies where you can basically take them down in one or two hits, depending on the skill. Once you clear the area, the objective is concluded. Loot the chest on the upper left corner of the chapel for some loot before heading out.

Find Sir Tegyr's wife

Head to the east side of the map to locate Sir Tegyr's wife, Ishilt. Once you reach the area you'll find Sir Tegyr's wife, a short dialogue will occur before the battle starts. Once again, a number of Walking Dead will spawn and rise up from the ground surrounding your heroes. Take them all out to clear the area and complete the objective.

Once you've eliminated all of them, Sir Tegyr thanks you for helping him put his family to rest and says that he will become your loyal ally. After the dialogue you can choose to either finish the mission or explore the area.

After completing the mission, Sir Tegyr is officially a part of the Knights of the Round Table.
