Knight of Midnight is a Boss in King Arthur: Knight's Tale. Bosses can be encountered during Main Missions and Side Missions during final Boss fights, which differentiate them from regular Enemies. During boss fights, their HP and Vitality will be displayed on the top of the screen during combat. They usually have increased health and stats, a unique style of combat and may be accompanied by a set of enemies.

Knight of Midnight Guide & Walkthrough

The Knight of Midnight is the final Act 1 Boss encounter found in the Heart of Midnight. During this fight, you will encounter the three Shrine Guardians that were initially encountered around the map during the mission. 

When you reach the Knight of midnight, the Hermit would've joined your party to help the team get through the mission. Beware of its ability to put your heroes in a bone cage where you may have to take a few actions to deplete the cage HP release yourself. The Shrine guardians may also have additional abilities that regenerate, protect and strengthen the Knight of Midnight. An animation will indicate as this is happening. Clear them first with any available ranged attacks. 

Move your heroes around the altar in the center of the arena to get a better angle. Select your attack and hover over the Knight to check its potential damage. Once its Hit Point gauge is almost depleted, it enters another phase of the fight where he summons additional Lost enemies such as the Lost Knight and the Lost Crossbowman. Ensure to finish them off when they are in the downed state before they reanimate. 

After clearing the Shrine guardians, be prepared for the chance they may be summoned again for battle. At this point the Knight of Midnight also gains an additional skill that will create a barrier wall of flames around him in a semi circle, forcing you to circle around the barrier to deal additional hits. Clear the arena as much as possible. Your priority is still to deplete the Knight of Midnights Vitality and Hitpoints. Once he is cleared, the rest of the arena is also defeated and you will be able to complete the mission.
