Potions in King Arthur: Knight's Tale, are consumable items. Potions are used by a hero during combat to obtain various effects such as restoring Hit Points (HP) and to gain buffs such as temporarily increasing your defenses and more. Essences also exist to grant permanent effects to Heroes. Potions are randomly acquired through loot and rewards for completing Missions, but all heroes start off with a standard healing potion by default.
Potions can only be used during Missions and you can only equip and prepare your potions for your Heroes when you are on the Adventure Map. Potions must be equipped into the potions slot at the character sheet and heroes can equip up to two kinds of potions. It is important to know that Potions obtained as loot are random and players can also purchase these items via the Merchant building in Camelot. My potions only work outside of battle, it was fine when I had the 100+GB version but now I have the newer smaller version the potions don't work in battles!
