Full Heart of the Deepwood Walkthrough

Main Mission Introduction

"The time has come to face Arthur's other soul fragment, hidden in the Heart of the Deepwood, the most sacred and terrifying sanctuary of the Sidhe in Avalon. I wonder what shape and form my old enemy will take this time, but I'm ready to destroy his twisted nightmare-self... again"

Main Mission Completed Description

"I have defeated the Green Knight, this shambling amalgamation of a Sidhe forest spirit and Arthur's torn soul fragment. It was a challenging battle, full of nasty surprises, but I have won. I have one more fragment to defeat, but I need guidance form the Lady of the Lake first."

Heart of the Deepwood Main Mission Objectives

Events that occur during the Main Mission, Heart of the Deepwood.

Reach the Heart of the Deepwood

• Nightveil must surivive

When the mission begins, move off the platform to begin the dialogue with Shiannan the Nightveil. You may ask her to join you party for this mission. After this interaction, you will be given an objective location on your map. It will be marked with a flag. Use the map for follow the direction of the arrow on the minimap to move towards the objective location. 

When you cross the bridge, an orb will appear and soon after, a Seelie Lord will initiate dialogue. He will warn you about the Watcher then will initiate combat. The enemies of this combat will not begin in range. 

 You will have a few moves where you can first clear any within range, The rest will use their turn to approach. While they are grouped together, an attack with an AoE can be deployed to maximize damage on multiple targets. Any rain attacks if available is ideal. You may alsofurther move your heroes forward to put them within strike range and to make use of any other available melee attack. 

For this fight, be mindful of the obstacles on the map that may interfere with some ranged attacks before you deal them.  Be patient with tis fight nad slowly clear the arena to move on. Cross the bridge towards the arrow. and continue to make your way toward that direction, following your minimap. You will eventually encounter another attack where you will have to face the Nightveil. If she is on your party, she switches sides and joins the opposing enemies.

Clear the battle again to continue. Try to get behind Shiannan for a backstab. Priotritize clearing her HP and she will eventually disappear before it is depleted. 

Continue making your way towards the mark until a cutscene will reveal the Sidhe Warlock.

Kill the Green Knight

The warlock will summon two portals that will summon various Seelie and Unsseelie enemies. To make it easier, clear the Crystal Gates. Deplte the Green Knight's HP and get ready for phase 2. You will need to repeat the process. If available and needed, put up defensive blocks near the gates to buy time as they approach. Clear the knight to be able to finish the mission.
