Events are optional missions or quests in King Arthur: Knight's Tale, you do not need to complete these events in order to progress the story but it can yield special rewards from doing these additional events. The choices you make will ultimately affect certain features like the Morality Chart and the loyalty for the heroes that have joined the Round Table, some choices grants bonuses and some have consequences. Some events are hero specific, meaning that in every playthrough the same hero will be named in the event, while others can pick completely random knights or random knights with a certain morality alignment.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale Events Guide

Events in King Arthur Knight's Tale are a feature of the game that provides Sir Mordred (the player) various choices that need to be done as the new king of Camelot. Events trigger in various cases such as during a Mission, after completing a mission, or by meeting some criterias like having a specific hero who is active and a member of The Round Table. In some cases, some events will not occur if you have not met some conditions or have chosen or triggered some previous events.

By choosing an action for an event, your choices will affect different aspects of the game such as the loyalty of another Hero, yields points towards the various Morality and/or Morality Chart of Sir Mordred, acquiring various rewards such as Gold, Building Resources, XP, and many more.

Other Events

There are certain events in King Arthur: Knight's Tale that are not tied to a specific Act. Some events trigger upon certain requirements or when certain conditions are met.

Understanding the Morality Chart

Morality Chart is a unique system that was implemented to serve as an indication for the players to determine how your heroes and enemies will judge you throughout the game. There are four types of approaches you can go about when you are given choices, Rightful, Tyrant, Christian, and Old-Faith. As you move forward, you will be faced with moral decisions that will move these values on the Morality Chart, and it will have implications on how you unlock new heroes, buffs and various stats or skills, as well as management actions depending on the path you're willing to take.

Other Events

Prologue Event

This event occurs after defeating Sir Tewelyn during the Prologue.

"This battle is over and you must make a choice. This is merely the first in the chain of decisions that will determine what kind of a leader you will be. Tell me, what will happen to Camelot?"

Camelot Reborn

This event occurs after completing the main mission Among the Ruins.

"Every lord needs a castle and I knew from the very beginning that I will rule this realm of Camelot. Finally the time is right. We have gathered the resources and the manpower to rebuild that majestic ruin. Camelot will shine a bright light into the gathering darkness of Avalon."

Pillagers of Kingstone

This event occurs after completing the main mission Among the Ruins.

"The defeat of the marauder knight of Kingstone was a harsh lesson for all the scoundrels pillaging the countryside - and a pleasant exercise for me. His remaining henchmen immediately laid down their weapons and offered their servitude. How admirably they crave retribution. I could give them a second chance and recruit them - on the other hand, I should satisfy the vengeance of the villagers and make an example that could reinforce my reign. What shall it be?"

The Manglegrove

This event occurs after completing the main mission Bridge of Sorrow.

"Rebuilding Kingstone proved to be an ungrateful undertaking. The villagers craved freedom so badly, yet at the first sign of trouble they cry for my help. How ironic. Even worse, they can't stop bothering me about a foreboding place they call the Manglegrove. Some of them want to rebuild this ancient sanctuary. Others wish to raise a Christian church there as they think it will prevent the unholy powers seeping into Avalon."

Retiring Vassals

This event occurs after completing the missions:

"A few vassals and servants in the court - usually too young or too old to hold a sword - asked me to relieve them of service. Usually, I'm not too fond of such pleas in wartime, but their grey-haired emissary has chosen his words carefully and offered a decent compensation in gold and jewellery. All they are asking is freedom and some weed-ridden turf around Camelot, and neither of these holds great value for me."

A Natural Order

This event occurs after completing the missions:

"A mysterious druid asked for an audience, and the cause of my headache is Sir Ector once again. His ill-fated ritual brought back some dead from beyond and one of them was a powerful sage and wizard in life. This restless soul roams the forests around the Bridge of Sorrows and may become a vessel for dark powers - at least this annoying fool thinks so. He may have a point, though."

Fame for Gold

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Tale of Sir Yvain.

"Bards and troubadours come and go, but sometimes you stumble into a true artisan with talent and passion. My castellan swears this troubadour already sang himself out of Pictish cages and the sunless dungeons of marauding knights. And now he is offering me a song about Lord Mordred, the misunderstood hero and legendary swordsman - in exchange for a modest gift."

Sir Lanval's Fate

This event occurs after you defeat Sir Lanval in duel during the side mission Treachery.

"It's just an advice... Show some forgiveness and he shall be useful for the Round Table. We know that he is worthy."

What should happen to Sir Kay?

This event occurs after completing the side mission Treachery.

"The Trails of the pitiful rebellion against my rule led back to Sir Kay, which was truly not a surprise, considering our conflicts in Britannia. What amazed me, though, was his boldness to admit his role in the conspiracy, claiming that he did everything for the throne. I appreciate that he was ready to stand up for his beliefs and risk his life for Camelot. He might be a more suitable member of the Round Table than I had thought."

A Rowdy Feast

This event occurs after completing the side mission Treachery.

"Life in Camelot is getting louder and more hectic and the reason for the disorder is, not surprisingly, the tavern. Last night my vassals finally went too far. During a drunken revelry a section of Camelot almost burned down. The flames were put out in the last minute by the drunken knights. Something needs to be done, even if my men deserve their distraction."

Tourney in Camelot

This event occurs after completing the side mission Forbidden Keep.

"I frequently participated in tourneys in my younger years, but now I'm starting to see other values in such festivities than simply being the best among others. My knights organized this tournament as a surprise - and probably a clumsy display of their loyalty. Whatever was their reasoning, I should make the best out of it, either honoring one of them as my champion or breaking a few lances on my own."

Tying Up the Loose ends

This event occurs after completing the side mission Forbidden Keep.

"A small group of friars - under the protection of a reclusive Christian brotherhood, the Order of the Seraphim - started to raze the ancient ruins of Thistlewood to build a Christian temple in its place. Such zeal has its benefits; after all, this place was a source of constant problems for Camelot in the past. Yet several knights reject that drastic solution; some even say I should reform the ancient knightly order that once tried to solve the mysteries of this place and unwillingly unleashed the undead curse."

The Scarlet Plague

This event occurs after completing the side mission Forbidden Keep.

"The Bridge - once guarded by Tewelyn and his sons - led to the land of despair. And we brought back with us in the form of a deadly fever that inflicts crippling pain and scarlet boils. The more superstitious souls whisper about the curse of the Knight of Midnight, and perhaps they are right. The battle-hardened knights of Camelot are somewhat resistant to this plague, but it spreads like wildfire among the common folk. Something has to be done before I lose my kingdom without unsheathing my sword."

Friar Camlar, Wounded

This event occurs at the beginning of the side mission Old Monastery

"I'm still alive. This wound is nothing. Just a punishment for my sins."

Lady Dindraine's Vision

This event occurs after completing the side mission Old Monastery

"I had a visit from Lady Dindrain, who has been on the hunt for the Grail since she came to Avalon. She told me about a dream she had about his brother, Sir Percivale, the famous Grail Knight. In her vision, Percivale was standing next to a majestic throne and warned her about the holy relic being in grave danger. Lady Dindraine wants to solve this dream-riddle and asked for my permission to visit the great library of the Red Abbey."

Fair in Camelot

This event occurs after completing the side mission Thistlewood Ruins.

"Lady Dindraine was always beloved by the commoners and the nobles alike - a rare example among my knights. Asking my support to hold a fair in Camelot is also an excellent idea, coming from this gallant knight, though a suspicious woul would say such degree of popularity should be reserved to the king and the king alone."

Wandering Artisan

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Ancient Throne.

"A skilled artisan arrived in Camelot with his family. According to his tale, the countryside is infected with Lost Ones and marauding bandits; most skilled craftsmen are desperate for protection and peace. For a small sum of gold, he could recruit an assorted group of carpenters and blacksmiths - if I guarantee their families' safety. A fair offer all things considered, only a fool or a knight would face the horrors outside Camelot."

A Mysterious Blacksmith

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Warrior Queen.

"A mysterious blacksmith visited my court, offering priceless treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann. He sounded like an aspirant jester at first, but upon closer inspection, his goods looked indeed remarkable. The stranger isn't very talkative, as he just hides under his dark cloak in silence and rejects even a cup of wine. He offers one choice and one choice only from his collection, which is highly unusual, even disrespectful from a wandering merchant."

Forsaken Goldmine

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Warrior Queen.

"Lady Dindraine - with an unexpected display of resourcefulness - discovered a forsaken gold mine deep in the Cursed Lands. I can't even imagine what he was doing in that terrifying wilderness, but the discovery may prove helpful for Camelot. The only problem is the nearby Howling Grotto, a place sacred and protected by the Lady. My champion still thinks we should explore the ruins, regardless of the ancient beliefs."

A Mercurial Vassal

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Cursed Ship.

"A nervous-looking man begged for an audience and started rambling about {one of your tyrant knights} who burned down his tavern in a drunken rampage. I've heard some quite unknightly tales about my knights seeking all kinds of pleasure outside Camelot - but this one went too far. On the one hand, I appreciate that this mess happened outside the walls of the stronghold; on the other, my knights should show a bit more dignity - at least while they serve under my banner."

Awakening Spirits

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Cursed Ship.

"According to the legends, the Bone Crags used to be the burial place of the first inhabitants of Avalon. This labyrinth of distorted bones and ancient monoliths was always a sinister place, but recently the ancient spirits started to awaken from their dark slumber. A druid of the Old Faith is asking our help in a purifying ritual, but that would require the essence of the Lady - as the druid says, "that's what you, Sir Mordred carry in your blood."

The Arrival of the Dean

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Haunted Forest.

"The Abbot of the Old Monastery may be uncomfortably gifted in scheming, but he could be also a worthy ally. This time he sent a newly anointed priest to Camelot, who is an excellent orator and a pragmatic mind, according to his letter of commendation. The young dean wasn't bothering me with theoretical problems, instead he immediately asked for guidance about what he should preach here."

Trial of the Castellan

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Return.

"Some would say I'm not the right person to judge others, but as the Lord of Camelot, I must take on some unpleasant duties. Thanks to the self-righteous Sir Balan, I have to hold a trial over my ill-tempered castellan, who has beaten a clumsy servant to death. Alas, the castellan isn't only competent but also popular among my knights - perhaps it would be wiser to look the other way simply."

Unsettling Visitor

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Besieged Castle.

"Camelot can be a crossroad for charlatans and lunatics - but this pox-scarred alchemist looks different. The stranger's presence may be uncomfortable, but the offer is tempting: in exchange for a quiet corner in the Enchanted Tower I could benefit from his expertise. What troubles me is that he also mentioned living subjects for his experiments - although there are fitting candidates in the dungeons."

Unwanted Prisoners

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Besieged Castle.

"After I broke the site encircling the Needle Tower, many pict and brigand surrendered to my knights. Feeding and guarding unruly, unwashed gang is becoming a hassle. I couldn't say much good about the Cursed Vassals flooding Avalon, but at least I didn't have such a headache with them. One of the knights I had entrusted with guard duty offered a quiet but ever-lasting "solution." Such methods may be unworthy for a king, but I've already seen - and done - worse in Britannia."

Unwanted Admirer

This even occurs after completing the side mission The Sadness of Sir Tegyr.

"A legendary beauty, the Mistress of the Brass Tower is asking for the Round Table's help. She is rumored to be born of a challenging mother, but that kind of timeless beauty comes with trouble. For months now, she has been receiving messages and gifts from a mysterious suitor - probably from a young Seelie prince consumed by love, who wants to take her to the Sidhe realm. The Mistress of the Brass Tower asks the Round Table for a guardian to chase the unwanted suitor away - a plea my knights are enthusiastic to answer. Strangely enthusiastic, I may say. Especially my more manly champions are eager to raise a sword or two for the fair maiden, and who am I to dismiss such a call for adventure?"

A Strange Invitation

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Sadness of Sir Tegyr.

"Not afar from Camelot stands a crumbling tower, claimed recently by a crazed knight and his squire. The local villagers accepted the strange pair as their protector - they are not troubled by the rambling antics of the knight who holds knightly tournaments and feasts attended by practically no one. Now the knight's humble-mouthed squire appeared in Sir Mordred's court, handing over an invitation to his Lord's next feast."

A Burial Overdue

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Sadness of Sir Tegyr.

"Sir Tegyr's former village, Ashdown has been saved from damnation, but the atrocities that have taken place there continue to haunt the place. The restless spirits of Tegyr's family have been plaguing the village ever since, with locals fearing that insanity will return one day. It would be time to end the past with a funeral ceremony - the only question is whether we are organizing it according to Old Faith or Christian traditions."

Sir Brunor's Revenge

This event occurs before starting the duel with Sir Carac and Sir Brunor during the side mission The Knight of Thorns.

"Let's end this once and for all. There is no point wasting more time on pleasantries."

Beast of the Waxing Moon

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Knight of Thorns.

"The vicinity of the Bridge of Sorrow is littered with small villages. The poor sods living in these cottages have lived here for generations, and with the fall of their liege, Sir Tewelyn, I must be their only hope. They claim that a mighty, bloodthirsty beast emerged from the woods wearing th mark of the Lady. They fear for their lives, but laying a hand on such a creature brings ill fate. Perhaps - as an expert in ill fate - I could help them."

Forsaken Legacy

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Curse of Sir Bors.

"One of my outriders returned with news about the death of a once powerful wizard who spent his final days as a hermit. That sage obsessively searched for the secrets of the Tuatha dé Dannan, but he ventured too far and the Lady took away his arcane powers as a grim warning. The old man found refuge among the ruins of a forsaken monastery, where he continued his research. After his death, the villagers from the area were quick to plunder the remaining treasures of the sage; I must act quickly and send a knight - preferably with a degree of understanding of the arcane arts - to secure the scraps left behind."

Unforgiving Knights

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Curse of Sir Bors.

"According to my outriders, a troublesome lot of knights - whom I had trouble with for a long time - set up a camp in the Lost Carchaise. The band is made up of vassals who refused to gather under my banner and serve Camelot. If I look deep into myself, I can't blame them, but letting contempt and disobedience take root is always a fool's gamble. The leader of the knights is a certain Sir Morholt, who was already notorious in Britannia for his stubbornness - there will be no room for diplomacy and pleasantries..."

Wayside Chapels

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Confrontation.

"I have to keep an eye on {one of your christian knights}, whose dedication to the Lord can lead to remarkable suggestions. This time I've been told that I should follow the divine inspiration and expand the wayside shrines into chapels to praise the one true God. Wasteful it may sound, but it can't deny the power of faith."

A Cliff of Regrets

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Confrontation.

"A steel-eyed old man visited Camelot and asked for help from the Round Table. According to a sorrowful tale, there is a haunted cliff close to Camelot from which a princess threw herself into the depth to get rid of Avalon's shackles and find peace. Alas, the Lady's will cannot be denied so easily - the princess still haunts the place in the form of a Banshee. The old man has asked me, the protector of Camelot, to release that broken soul from suffering, and his village from her tormental wailing. The priests of the nearby St. Brendanus Cathedral have already tried everything, but the Christian ceremonies have failed so far."

A new Lady of the Round Table

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Excalibur.

"After our adventures together, Lady Guinevere appeared in Camelot and announced her desire to join my Round Table. Her decision caused quite a stir among the knights, quite understandably. But even former enemies can be allies for a common cause, and both of us wishes nothing but the defeat of the abomination Arthur had become."

Cynylf's Fate

This event occurs during the side mission The Chosen.

"Fret not, friends. I am the last of my coven and the circle shall be closed. The soil is barren so the seed has to die."

New Beginning

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Chosen.

"Lost Carhaise was once a stronghold of the Blackthorn Council. These knights were stubbornly loyal to the Lady and the Old Faith. Alas, their arrogance proved to be their downfall as King Pellam almost wiped out the order due to a long-forgotten insult. According to the locals, a group of renegade Picts found shelter among these haunted ruins. They have broken with the bloody rites of the shamans and Morgawse, trying to return to their ancestors' honorable path. Even if their intentions are noble, their mere existence is a concern for the residents of the area and the Christian knights."

Blood Money

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Chosen.

"A blue-tattooed messenger of a Pict tribe arrived in Camelot with an unusual offer. The chieftain of the tribe was visited in a dream by the ghost of his long-dead grandfather, who asked him to make peace with Camelot. These savages are proud and they want to see the prowess of my champions with their own eyes. If I send a knight who defeats the chieftain in a duel, he will seal the peace between our peoples with appropriate gifts, and they will no longer take up arms against my kingdom. The messages smelled like an obvious trap at first. Still, the emissary remains in my court as a hostage until the chosen champion returns. Perhaps the offer is worth my consideration after all."

Sir Alun, the Marauding Knight

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Horn of the Dauntless.

"The pious priests of the St. Brendanus Cathedral made a terrible mistake after the Great Storm has struck Avalon. In utter desperation, they pleaded to a notorious robber knight to protect their island. The knight named Sir Alun and his thugs fleeced the priests and not plundering the countryside, demanding more tribute. They were smart enough not to meddle with the Knight of the Round Table, so maybe we could recruit them to our cause. Sir Alun is said to be a much feared knight in single combat, always looking for challengers - maybe a carefully selected "envoy" could convince him to serve Sir Mordred."

The Artificer of the Gods

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Witch Queen.

"I had a visitor, the mysterious blacksmith we set free from the Witch Queen's camp. He is the last of his kind, the descendant of the weaponsmiths who once forged the arms of the Sidhe. All the secrets about mending and crafting arcane weaponry could make us even more powerful."

Grim Decision

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Witch Queen.

"The Pict tribes lost the twisted guidance of Morgawse and their shamans were scattered. Some fled into the Wasteland and some are still struggling to reach the frontiers of the Deepwood of the Sidhe. The Picts are not a serious threat to Camelot at the moment, but my knights say this could be the perfect time to put an end to their reign of terror - one way or another."

Dangerous Hunt

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Cauldron.

"Knights are a storage breed - they crave challenge, and they require a healthy dose of it regularly. {one of your knights}, for example, just found a dreaded Griffin to hunt down because our shared battles and struggles are clearly not enough. At least I have the rare privilege to allow or deny this nonsensical hunt; usually, they are not even asking about it."

Father Ryan's Decision

This event occurs during the main mission The Fisher King.

"Liar! He is the Wounded King, the Keeper of the Grail, the last beacon of Christianity in this forsaken land."

First Treasure of the Tuatha Dé Danann

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Fisher King.

"A mysterious sage has asked for audience at Sir Mordred, then told us a strange tale. According to ancient legends, the Well of Connia is a wellspring of plenty, thanks to a Tuatha dé Dennan relic hiding in its depths. The relic is called the Stone of Fál, one of the four much desired treasures of the godly people, which could be obtained by an experienced and most cunning knight. In order to succeed, the knight has to win the goodwill of a Niskai, a water spirit who lives in the well, protecting the relic."

Refugees from the North

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Fisher King.

"The scouts have returned interesting news - a battered barge washed up in the Whispering Cove with a few survivors.  They risked the otherworldly sea to escape the marauding Picts who razed several towns and villages in the northern region of Avalon. I don't know these people and the last thing I need is potential trouble, but these sad refugees look useful at least. Most of them are skilled craftsmen with families - and they are clearly not in the position to be choosy about a new master."

A Matter of Faith

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Fisher King.

"Making justice in the matter of faith is the most futile and ungrateful task for a king. This time I couldn't avoid it; my vassals almost ambushed me about the burial rituals used in Camelot. As a practical man, I don't think that this would be our most urgent dilemma right now, but it would be a mistake to dismiss my knights as some of them are still dreaming about eternal life and a forgiving God. Or Gods."

The Wild Hunt Begins

This event occurs after completing the main mission Into the Deepwood.

"A severely injured, delirious messenger crept into Camelot. According to his confused tale, the Wild Hunt has emerged from the untamed Deepwood, and soon all of Avalon will dread the rage of the Sidhe. This is disturbing - their Wild Hunt is a bloodthirsty culling of the mortals, which has swept through Avalon several times. Camelot shall be ready to answer this threat."

A Flood of Rotten Flesh

This event occurs after completing the main mission Into the Deepwood.

"The Bridge of Sorrow is the main line of defense for Camelot - and even this seemingly impassable barrier fails from time to time. A horde of Lost Ones appeared in the forests around Camelot, terrorizing the small villages in the countryside. My knights are always eager to hunt down these shambling monstrosities, but in the meantime, a growing number of old men, women, and children are gathering at Camelot, seeking refuge."

Minstrel in Distress

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Wild Hunt.

"Dinas Powys stood as a stronghold in Wales, Britannia, until it was ransacked by the Romans of Eboracum, who horribly tortured and crucified the survivors of the onslaught. As a dark twist of faith, this accursed place also exist in Avalon, but even our knights prefer to give it a wide berth, so the vacant ruins were soon claimed by a renegade Pict tribe. Recently they have abducted a legendary bard, forcing him to sing at their barbarian feast, called the Curadmir. Seems like a proper knightly challenge to free the bard in one piece."

Shadows from the Past

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Wild Hunt.

"Travelers and commoners are demanding audience at the court, babbling excitedly about Lost soldiers wearing strange plumed helmets, wandering aimlessly around Camelot. They emerged from an ancient, underground burial site, dating back to the early ages of Avalon - a cave rumored to be a gateway to the otherworld. No one knows why these Roman looking, lond dead soldiers appeared. Maybe they wanted to wage war on Britannia again, but ended up here?"

Wandering Zealots

This event occurs after completing the side mission Cave of Shadows

"According to my castellan, some troublesome monks are roaming the countryside. The "messengers of the One True God", as they are calling themselves, are razing ancient, sacred places and harassing the followers of the old ways. But they also offer solace to the common folk, which is a powerful message in this dark time. Their zeal may be useful, but I am the champion of the Lady, after all. Or at least that's who I was supposed to be."

A Curse Unbroken

This event occurs after completing the side mission Cave of Shadows.

"There is an accursed place in the heart of the Wasteland, wherein the forgotten past dragons and giants waged a bloody battle. The druids believe the dragons are still alive in a sense; their bones were infused with ancient magic that binds their souls to Avalon. The Picts used the bones for bloody rituals and the vengeful spirits of the dragons are still poisoning the land - even after my victory. The druids asked for my help to send a knight and to reconcile the vengeful spirits. I should choose my champion carefully; these spirits are faithful to their ancient ways."

The Wild Hunt Unleashed

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Return of the King.

"The Wild Hunt swept through the villages and castles unexpectedly and relentlessly. When my knights arrived, the Sidhe had already vanished without a trace. Only a handful of women and children survived the bloodshed - they were probably left alive by the Sidhe to plant the seeds of fear and dissatisfaction with their harrowing stories. Such a challenge to my honor cannot go unanswered, but I must deal with the survivors before anything else."

Wandering Artisan

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Return of the King.

Religious Frictions

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Return of the King.

"Until recently, Kingstone was a safe haven for all faiths - maybe because everyone was occupied with Avalon's sheer survival. Now everything seems to be turning into disputes of religious overzeal. The Christians demand to celebrate Easter, while the Old Faith worshippers want to hold a feast for the Solstice of Spring - at the say day, of course. Ironically, the coming and going of seasons, the course of the Moon and stars defy human logic in Avalon. The provost of Kingstone demands Sir Mordred to pick a side."

The Henchman's Supplies

This event occurs when you approach the henchman resting at a camp during the main mission Beyond the Veil.

"Of course you can. But please don't take our food. Sir Durwald would punish us."

Raiding the Raiders

This event occurs after completing the main mission Beyond the Veil.

"One thing is certain: the calm life of the court isn't for Sir Balin. My restless knight is always seeking new battles, this time in the brigand-infested forests around Camelot. The notion is admirable, but wasting my knights on such aimless raids isn't the brightest idea. On the other hand, every foxhound deserves its hunt."

Marauders no More

This event occurs after completing the main mission Beyond the Veil.

"The forest around Camelot were once teeming with brigands and marauder knights. Thanks to me and the Round Table, their numbers were thinned and the survivors - feeling the change of winds - seek forgiveness for their past sins. They even offered their servitude to Camelot. Allowing such filth into my castle may cause discontent among my more righteous knights, but I could use them to establish my rule. Not to mention the stolen goods they are offering for my goodwill."

A Disrespectful Poem

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Battle of the Chasm.

"Thanks to a loyal stableboy, I've heard about a mocking poem spreading among the servants. A sarcastic - and surprisingly clever - poem about a vain knight and his ultimate defeat on the field of Camlann. Some would say my past deserves this kind of revulsion, but I'm not in the position to tolerate mockery in my own court."

Lament of the Dead

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Battle of the Chasm.

"The Shrieking Tower is a sad reminder of a tragic wedding and the vengeful spirits are still begging for justice and revenge in the empty halls. It has been many years since Sidhe raiders massacred the festive crowd waiting for the wedding. The locals have since avoided the tower, which could be a valuable stronghold for the Round Table, and the surrounding villages could feed my garrison. However, even the most fearless vassal would be reluctant to lay down to sleep among the bloodthirsty spirits."

Second Treasure of the Tuatha Dé Danann

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Battle of the Chasm.

"The sage who told us of the four treasures of the Tuatha dé Danann has visited Sir Mordred yet again. He is talking about a forgotten, secluded clearing somewhere deep in the Sidhe forest, guarded by ancient magic. Here should lie a relic of Dagda, one of the four treasure made by the godly people. The clearing is hidden by "Féth fíada", a magical mist which can only be traversed by the best hunters and woodsmen."

Pict Warband

This event occurs after completing the side mission Hunt of the Damned.

"We are under attack from every direction, but Sir Balin is already planning the next raid - this time against the Picts. This kind of ferocity is what I expect from my knights, but it would be a mistake to underestimate these tribes. The Picts may look savages at first glance, but their magic is strong, rooted deeply in the forgotten past."

The Wild Hunt Approaches

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Artificer.

"My knights wandering the forests sent word that the Wild Hunt is riding towards one of my villages, which could be the perfect opportunity to take revenge on the Sidhe. The Wild Hunt will only disband at the death of their Huntmaster, a cursed champion who is almost immortal as the incarnation of the Hunt. Still, an open battle against the Wild Hunt could save the surrounding villages. On the other hand, I could use a less chivalrous tactic - cruel times call for cruel measures."

Fame for Gold

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Seelie Court.

Talented Brigands

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Unseelie Court.

"Travelers arriving to Camelot are telling amusing tales of certain highwaymen, exceptionally gifted in pillaging the farthest corners of the kingdom. Bandits are a dime in a dozen here, but these ones eluded all attempts of capture - and they are rumored to even brave the Sidhe's realm, the Deepwood. Sir Mordred could put them to good use as vassal - maybe a carefully selected Knight of the Round Table could "convince" them to join. But we have to find them first."

Rite of the Everspring

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Unseelie Court.

"Springdale was always known as Camelot's food basket, the God's always blessed the village with good fortune and bountiful harvest. According to the rumors, this was no mistake, but the workings of the local druids. As a matter of fact, the druids truly hold frequent rituals in Springdale, making sacrifices to the Old Gods. As a token of respect, they invited Camelot to the next ceremony. We are expected to send a knight to attend the ritual."

The Questing Beast

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Unseelie Court.

"In a secluded, secret valley lives a terrifying monster: the Questing Beast. The creature have already killed plenty of knights and is preying on peasants from the nearby villages, who are not too scared to harvest the crops. According to the legend, the monster was once a fell knight, cursed for seducing a priestess of the Lady of the Lake. The Questing Beast has to suffer to eternity until a worthy challenger shows up and defeats him."

Retiring Vassals

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Wild Hunt Returns.

Drillmaster (Event)

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Wild Hunt Returns.

"Seminus, a mysterious and suspiciously wealthy merchant visited Camelot with an unusual offer. He asked for a knight who is particularly adept at swordsmanship to train his sellswords. Under ordinary circumstances I would not even consider such an audacious request. Still, my present situation is everything but ordinary - on one hand, the supplies from Seminus are vital to my kingdom, and on the other hand, the promised reward would come in handy."

Facing the Tide

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Wild Hunt Returns.

"With the emergence of the Fomorian horde, the war for Avalon is entering into its new phase. I'm expected to rally the knights and hold a rousing speech. The counselors of the court are begging me to choose my words carefully, otherwise some knights may not want to fight or die for me."

Wandering Artisan

This event occurs after completing the side mission Order of the Seraphim.

Seminus' Tribute

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Beastmaster.

"Seminus, whom I saved at the Beastmaster quest, has sent some gold along with a thankful letter."

The Forest with the Wandering Trails

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Beastmaster.

"Only the most daring or foolish knights dares to enter the Deepwoods of the Sidhe, so I wasn't surprised when Sir Balin asked my permission for a raid into this green hell. It sounds like a hopeless, if not suicidal undertaking - but the temptation of the legendary treasures hiding in the enchanted woodland is strong, especially if I think about the upcoming battles against the beasts of Avalon."

Third Treasure of the Tuatha Dé Danann

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Blackthorn Council.

"The safe who told us of the four treasures of the Tuatha dé Dennan has visited Sir Mordred yet again. He is talking of a man called Brendamn, a legendary shipmaster and explorer, who managed to sail to Avalon without the Lady of the Lake's permission. After his passing, a temple was built close to Camelot, honoring Brendamn's name, which was later turned into a cathedral, thanks to King Pellam's generous gifts. Legends say the catacombs below the cathedral hide otherworldly relics - such as the Spear of Lugh, one of the four treasures of the Tuatha dé Dennan. We must think hard and well who do we send to those depths - the ancient scriptures say that Brendamn's curiosity was only surpassed by his faith."

An Unlikely Envoy

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Gathering.

"A sizeable Pictish tribe have mustered the courage (or maybe the wits) to send an envoy to Camelot. These savages are refusing to bow to Balor, the godly monstrosity who returned from the void between worlds. They are offering peace and only asking for one thing in return - to let them follow their traditions, worship the Old Gods undisturbed."

Bull-Headed Hermit

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Gathering.

"A monk visited my court and asked for an audience to a dispute. The sweet-spoken envoy represents a Christian order of knights, the Seraphim who want to rebuild a ruined abbey newar the Bridge of Sorrow. The only problem is a sage who lives there as a hermit and - referring to an old letter signed by the not-so-late Sir Tewelyn - rejected all offers. The Christian knights are ready to solve the problem on their own, but because of Camelot's proximity, they ask for my approval. The envoy also mentioned adequate compensation for our goodwill - which will hopefully mean gold coins."

Fourth Treasure of the Tuatha Dé Danann

This event occurs after completing the main mission The Gathering.

"The sage who told us of the four treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann has visited Sir Mordred again. Now he is reciting another tale, namely about Castle Perilous, which resides in a dark corner of Avalon. It was known as the lair of an evil knight who abducted princesses and fought wandering champions to the death. Finally, he was defeated by a young squire, but the hero made a terrible mistake by taking up the evil knight's sword, slowly turning him into the same monster. The sword is an ancient Sidhe relic, called the sword of Nuada, the last of its kind which can be only wielded by a knight worthy of Nuada in ruthlessness and ferocity."

Calamity in Springdale

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Rite of the Ones Beneath.

"Springdale is a secluded but prosperous village, famous for its long springs and mild winters. Recently, however, strange misfortunes are preying on the villagers: the cattle is dying and accidents decimate the peasants. The village leader finally gathered his courage to seek Camelot's help. According to the druids - who are held in high esteem by the villagers - a spiteful faerie may be behind the events, but even they couldn't remove the curse. The villagers think that a wise knight from Camelot may end their calamity."

Song of Damnation

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Return of the White Knight.

"The Abbot of the Golant Monastery is asking for Sir Mordred's help. Local men keep disappearing, presumably falling for a beautiful, singing witch who consumes blood to stay young forever. At first, the voice of the siren could only be heard at night, but now twilight looms over the land even in daytime, and the singing is luring more and more men into perdition. The villages are getting deserted and the abbot is worried that the witch has risen in power immensely."

Bloody Equinox

This event occurs after completing the side mission The Protector.

"With hindsight, it was an obvious mistake to trust the wisdom of the common folk in Kingstone. The two festivities of different religions culminated in a bloody brawl with several dead and wounded. To make matters worse, one of the deceased is a respected and beloved priest from the nearby St. Brendanus Cathedral who was trying to calm the frenzied mob. With so much blood spilled, everyone is waiting for my just verdict - a somewhat ironic situation knowing my past."
